Daily Glimmers is a snail mail club for people who like proper post, paper things, little projects, making plans and having something nice to look forward to.

Basically, snail mail plus.

Each month you’ll get an envelope through the post with things to use, fill in, keep, stick somewhere, take out with you or find again months later and think, oh yes, I meant to do that.

There’ll also be a monthly online Joy Setting session, where we’ll look at the month ahead and make some plans for things we’d actually quite like to do.

Not goals. Not productivity. Just making sure the month contains a few things beyond work, washing and deciding what to have for tea.

I’m opening the club with just 20 Founder Member places at £10 a month (UK), £12 a month (international).

So, what is Daily Glimmers?

The whole idea came from wanting to put a little more good stuff into ordinary life.

Things to look forward to. Places to go. Things to make. Books to read. People to see. Small adventures. Doing something just because it sounds nice.

Nothing life-changing required.

Most of life is fairly ordinary, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I just think it’s easy to let the weeks disappear without doing half the things we keep saying we’d like to do.

Daily Glimmers is a little nudge against that.

Your monthly snail mail

Every month, an envelope will arrive through your letterbox.

Every envelope will include:

• a letter from me

• a new Daily Glimmers prompt card to add to your collection

The rest will change from month to month.

There might be analogue challenges, journalling prompts, postcards, a tiny creative project, something to fill in, something to keep or an idea that sends you off to do something you probably wouldn’t otherwise have thought of.

Some months might be more reflective. Some more playful. Some might give you an excuse to get out of the house.

There’ll always be something in there to actually do with, rather than just a pile of nice paper.

The monthly Joy Setting session

Once a month we’ll meet online for a Joy Setting session.

It’s a chance to look at the month ahead before it somehow becomes the end of the month.

We’ll think about things you want to do, people you want to see, places you want to go, things you want to make and all those little plans that are very easy to keep saying we should do that sometime about.

The idea is simply to put a few of them in the diary.

Come along live if you can. If you can’t, there’ll be a replay so you can do it whenever suits you.

Founder Membership

I’m starting Daily Glimmers with just 20 Founder Members.

Founder Membership is £10 per month (UK), £12 a month (International) and includes:

• your monthly Daily Glimmers snail mail

• the monthly live Joy Setting session

• the Joy Setting replay if you can’t make it live

• your Founder Member price for as long as you remain a member

There’s no minimum term. Stay for as long as you enjoy being part of it.

Starting with twenty people means I can actually see what people enjoy, what gets used, what gets kept and what sounded like a good idea to me but apparently wasn’t.

And we can build Daily Glimmers together from there.
